Cassandra Khaw's 2084 story shortlisted for Brave New Words Award!

We're thrilled to announce that Cassandra Khaw's story from 2084, 'Degrees of Ellision', has been shortlisted for STARBURST Magazine's Brave New Words Award!

The award is in its first year, and seeks to reward writers who have produced new and challenging work during the course of the year. While the award is for an individual, rather than a piece of work, 'Degrees of Ellision' has been singled out by the judges as the outstanding work which has put Cassandra on the shortlist. If you've already read 'Degrees of Ellison' in 2084, we're sure you'll agree!

The overall winner will be announced at the STARBURST Media City Festival in Salford, Manchester on 17th March. The other shortlisted nominees are Jeannette Ng, Claire North, Katie Khan, Adrian Tchaikovsky and Margrét Helgadóttir.

I'm sure you'll join us in wishing Cassandra Khaw the best of luck. And if you haven't yet read 'Degrees of Ellision' in 2084, you're now officially missing out...
