We'd like to say a big thanks to everyone who came along to Unsung Live 2 on Tuesday night at The Star of Kings. It was a wonderful evening and great to see so many enthusiastic live literature fans supporting what we do.

If you enjoyed it, please spread the word and tell your friends what they missed out on! As far as we know this is the only contemporary night of live sci-fi, fantasy and horror in London so it's really encouraging to see the night taking off.

We had excellent readings from David Hartley, Cassandra Khaw, Robert Sharp and Simon Guerrier – we'd urge you to go seek out more of their work, and it was a pleasure handing the stage to such talented writers.

Andrew Wallace has kindly written a lovely (and thorough) review of the night here

And the good people at MegloBlog, a new blog exploring the speculative and odd in fiction , have reviewed the event here.

If you have any photos of the event please tweet us @UnsungTweets, we would love to see them.

And finally keep your eyes peeled for more Unsung Live events in the new year - all the details will be up here on the Meetup page soon.

Here's what people have said about the night:

At a time when publishing is struggling to make sense of the new world order, live events like this feel like the way forward. Go to the next one so in five years’ time you can say you were there.

– Andrew Wallace

Very interesting – I wasn't at the first event so wasn't sure what to expect.

– Carol Mitchell

A great evening featuring some very good readings. Well worth attending.

– Ian Whates

Really great readings, thanks for organising.

– Alice Furse

The readings were a brilliant blend of touching, troubling, imaginative and comic tales.
